Hi, I’m Isabelle, I just turned 28 and I work as a waitress in a restaurant. I am also enrolled in a university night school program. I still dream of being a teacher even though I had to drop out of school for a while to make some money... Anyway, I’ve been in a relationship with this man, he’s really great, our lifestyles fit perfectly together. For years I have been taking birth control injections 4 times a year. It was a great method for me since I am very forgetful. My doctor’s receptionist would call and remind me of my appointments. Yesterday, I looked at the calendar and noticed that it was April 2nd – and normally I should get an injection at the end of March... In a panic I called the doctor’s office and found out that he had retired and his office was closed. I’m terrified - I don’t know what to do. My boyfriend was away for a week, but was back last night and we didn’t use a condom. I’m not ready to have a child; I have so many other life experiences I want to live... I heard about this pill but is it just a myth?
